Frequently asked questions

Is Rundoo a good alternative to Autologue?

Rundoo is the AI-first POS built for independent supply stores. It brings point of sale, inventory, payments, accounting, and customer accounts into one cloud-based system, with Dooey on every screen and unlimited users for one price. Stores leave Autologue when the interface starts costing them time at the counter and on the back end.

My veteran counter staff know Autologue inside and out. Will switching slow them down?

This is the most common hesitation we hear, and it is a fair one. Autologue rewards people who have used it for years. What those same people tell us after switching is that the knowledge they built up was mostly knowledge of workarounds. Rundoo is a modern interface most teams pick up within a week, and your implementation manager runs hands-on training sessions with your whole staff before go-live.

We are still under contract with Autologue. Can we still switch?

Often, yes. Tell us what you are locked into and send us a copy of your current agreement, and we will look at whether a buyout makes sense for your store. Several stores have moved to Rundoo before their old contract ran out.

Will our charge balances and customer accounts come over?

Yes. We map your accounts, AR balances, special pricing, statement settings, and tax-exempt IDs as part of the migration. One thing worth knowing up front: Autologue exports do not indicate how much of an invoice has already been paid, so your implementation manager confirms open balances with you directly before go-live rather than trusting the export.

What happens to our old system during the switch?

We recommend keeping Autologue running for about 30 days after you go live on Rundoo. It costs you one more month on the old system and means that if anything looks off in the migrated data, the original is still right there to check against.
